Midnight Calaveras by Dead On Paper

Created by Chris Ovdiyenko and funded on Kickstarter, the unbranded Midnight Calaveras deck is a darker rendition of the Classic Calaveras playing cards. Printed by USPCC, these cards feature metallic printing against a black background, enhancing their striking appearance. The embossed tuck case is adorned with premium foil elements, adding to its luxurious feel.

The intricate artwork is inspired by the famous Day-of-the-Dead Mexican celebration. The court cards represent different social classes: spades depict the military class, clubs represent the common people, hearts symbolize the “bandidos,” and diamonds represent the clergy. Each Ace has its own custom design, adding to the deck's unique appeal.

This deck is not only aesthetically captivating and original but also handles remarkably well.
