America, 1608 : The North Ontario Company, or NOC, established fur trades in and around New England and Lake Ontario with the natives of the land. They traded a variety of goods such as knives, hatchets, and beads to the Indians for fur and meat. One of the most sought after recreational goods traded were playing cards, hard to find at the time. A prevalent frontiersman during this era (photoed above) is on the hunt for a certain rare and particular item. This is where our story begins...
