The Retro ZDV2 playing cards by December Boys is a limited edition deck which is heavily inspired by the 80s and vaporwave aesthetic, that aims for a nostalgic, retro futuristic look.
Our favorite part of the Retro Z Deck v2 is the side ways opening of the hand assembled, embossed and foiled tuck case which was inspired by the retro VHS tapes. The tuck boxes are vibrant and of premium quality due to the letterpressed printing by Clove St Press.
Limited to 2500 decks the Z Deck v2 is printed by the United States Playing Card Company on Art of Play's trademark thin stock preferred by cardists.
December Boys have been on a mission for 11 years to find a playing card design that would really complement card flourishes in motion and with the help of talented artists Emir Aliičić and Ega Elanda the ZDV2: Retro was born.
The ZDV2 Playing Cards Retro consists of 52 poker-sized designer playing cards and 4 green cards. The 4 double-backer green cards have white borders allowing you to explore the signature concept of December Boys by chroma keying these cards in your cardistry videos and short clips for social media.
